She is passionate about supporting and uplifting her Māori community, while strengthening connections within Tauranga Moana.

Te Rina is a Pakihi Māori and a dedicated Kaitautoko for the Tauranga Māori Business Association, bringing 19 years of banking and finance experience across retail, commercial, and agricultural sectors. As Business Manager of Diverse Women, she is recognised for her project management expertise and her commitment to empowering Pakihi Māori in the Bay of Plenty, drawing on her background in adult education and strong community ties. With deep whakapapa connections and a passion for fostering culturally relevant opportunities, Te Rina is a transformative leader whose extensive network and advocacy are invaluable for driving meaningful, sustainable change in the business landscape.
